About ZFRAN
Fran is a graduate of Florida International University. While working as a school principal, she discovered this addiction in 2006 when she accidentally stumbled into a ZUMBA® class at a local health club. After just one class, she was hooked. She soon dropped her gym membership and began taking classes with her ZUMBA® instructor all over Broward County. In December of 2006, Fran became a licensed Zumba® Instructor and ZIN Member.
In 2012, Fran took the leap, changed careers, and opened ZFRAN Studio. She is very excited, that after two years, her business has expanded and now also offers HOT Yoga classes seven days a week. She currently holds instructional licenses for ZUMBA®, Zumbatomic®, Zumba Gold®, Aqua Zumba® and Zumbini®, and is working towards her yoga certification.
In addition to teaching classes, Fran has coordinated and participated in a number of ZUMBATHON® charity events benefiting organizations including: Susan G. Komen Foundation, Red Cross- Relief for Haiti, Augie’s Quest, ASPCA, Cakes4Kids, & Posnack JCC. She also made history on October 30, 2011, as one of 5 instructors who were
recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records for leading the largest ZUMBA® class with over 1,300 participants.
Through her own personal ZUMBA® Fitness journey, Fran lost 60 pounds, lowered her cholesterol, and got healthy! Now she continues to motivate and inspire her students to “dance as if no one is watching, keep moving, and have fun; the weight loss will follow."
Join ZFRAN, for hours of ZUMBA® Fitness classes a week on a state-of-the-art spring floor designed for high impact activity. All classes can be modified for participants of all ages and all fitness levels.
ZUMBA® fitness fuses energizing Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will knock your socks off. The choreographed routines, which are set to musical genres such as salsa, cumbia, reggaeton, & cha cha cha, feature fast and slow rhythms, which, when combined, successfully tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Participants burn an average of 700 calories, dance 6,000 steps, and move 2.5miles! All of the dance moves can be modified for beginner, intermediate and dvanced participants of all ages.
